Damnit! I finally get an e-mail after all these months, and it just seems to be an advertisement for your site! I suppose I'll let it slide, though, because you seem to have discovered my greatest weakness: Unabashed praise.
So, thank you very much for the e-mail and your comments. It's always nice to know that anything on this site is appreciated by random people such as yourselves, especially considering your artistic background. So far, this is my favorite piece from your "blog":
As for the question of the camera...it really depends on the gallery:
If you were looking at the Great American Roadtrip, then they were taken with a crappy 35mm camera that I bought for 20 dollars back in 2001. I only recently scanned those pictures to post them. The Hanging Lake photos and the Great Northwestern Roadtrip were both shot with a crappy digital camera I bought online for $60 a few years ago. Everything else, however, was shot with my current camera, a Sony Cybershot DSC-W100. It has treated me well so far, so I would definitely recommend it.

It's about time this e-mail thing started catching on. Of course, it would be nice if anyone besides forum members would send one in. I talk to you people every day!
As for your question, of course the (cutaia-cam) will return! How else could people like you stockpile random screenshots of me for future photoshopping? The reason it's been off for so long is, quite simply, that it was causing a massive amount of slowdown. I am going to start looking into my options to get it back on, though, whether that means running the cam through a secondary computer or buying a whole new main computer.
Soon it'll be up and running again, and you can get back to taking awful pictures of me.
